Antique Cars For Sale. I grew up with old cars and trucks. My first car was a 1950 Ford coupe and my first truck was a 1947 Ford pickup truck. In the early 1960’s my best friend (we were 15 years old then) and I paid $150 for a 1933 Packard 4 door with a straight eight engine. It was a beautiful old car and was all original. The interior and dashboard were in very good condition. It had thrown a rod through the side of the engine block. We used a bolt with a thick lead washer to seal the hole. After we replaced the rod and bearings, and cleaned up the points, that old Packard started right up. It was a fun car to drive. We sold the Packard for $350 and thought that was a great business deal. I sure wish I had that old Packard today.
